How to Fix the Problem?
In order to Fix this problem do the following.
1.Go to settings on your phone.
2.Select Apps.
3.Find Instagram and go to storage.
4. Now clear cache and you can also reboot your phone.
In doing the above you will find that your Instagram feed will start working again as it should. This can be used to fix this problem and other instances where Instagram is behaving weirdly.
