Android 12 makes Camera and Microphone Access easier to manage especially on Samsung Galaxy device with One UI 4.0. As you may know there are now new Privacy features build into Android 12 for Camera and Mic access and you should familiarize yourself with them.
So if at any time you can easily limit Access to your Mic and your Camera and only allow access with express permission from you.
How do I use this?
If you want to lock down your Camera and only give access manually or simply totally cut off access especially if you believe your Camera and Mic is being Accessed you may want to try this feature out.
How to Disable Camera and Microphone Access on Android?
On any Samsung Galaxy With Android 12 and One UI 4.0 or higher
1.From the Home Screen.
2.Open notification Area and swipe down again to see the quick toggles.
3.Scroll all the way over to the right.
4.If they are not visible click plus and drag the following toggles to the main toggle: Camera Access and Microphone Access.
5.Now turn both off and you will notice that the Camera will open to a blank screen and you will get nothing from the Mic unless you grant access once again.
This is a very cool feature to block everything from accessing the Camera and Mic and under some conditions it can be useful to totally lock down access to your Mic or Camera especially if its being accessed without your permission.
