YouTube’s autoplay features will preview videos with the sound off on the Home feed while you scroll looking for a video. This is a cool new feature that you may not care much about.

What is this Autoplay Feature?
This Autoplay feature in YouTube is called Muted Playback & Previews in feeds. What it does is to allow Videos to play and preview in feeds like Home,Subscriptions and search results on the YouTube App.
A long name I know but this is the name that YouTube decided to go with.

How to Turn this feature in YouTube?
1.Go ahead and start YouTube app.
2.From the Home feed or Library tab at the bottom of the screen go ahead and click on your user profile picture in the upper right that’s a circle beside search.
3.Select settings.
4.Now look for and click : Muted Playback & Previews in feeds. The option should be more towards the end of the options menu.
It will be set to WiFi-only. Go ahead and set it to OFF to turn it off completely. Once the change has been made simply exit the menu.
Before you Go
