Whatsapp has added in there latest version the long awaited QR Code feature that allows you to share your Whatsapp contact to easily add a new contact or person you may have met.
The new Whatsapp feature allows you to both share your QR Code and to scan from within Whatsapp. I am sure you are dying to try the feature out as no more adding a contact to your phone book to only to not be able to find them on Whatsapp is a thing of the past.

How to Find and use Whatsapp QR code Feature?
In order to find the new QR code feature within Whatsapp go ahead and
1.Go to Google Play or the App store on your device and Find Whatsapp and Update the App if there is a Update available. If the App is not updated to the latest version you will not have the feature.
2.Launch Whatsapp and click the three dots on the upper right. Next go to settings.
3.Look at your Profile picture under settings you will see a QR code symbol beside it. Go ahead and select the QR code symbol.
4.Under QR code you will see My Code which you can show others to add you to Whatsapp.
The scan code is whats should be used to scan a QR code. The person that wants to add you would use this to scan your code and you will be added automatically without issues.
That’s how it all works and the process is straightforward. All you need to scan and for other to add you is in the app.
