What doe the Yellow Battery Icon mean?
The yellow battery icon simply means that your device is in low power mode. Now this mode temporarily reduces background activity like downloads and mail fetch until you can charge your phone.
This is in an attempt to save battery. The mode is indicated by a yellow battery icon versus the normal battery icon.
Why did my Icon turn yellow?
Most likely your icon turned yellow as you place your device in the Low power mode without realizing or when your battery was running low the option popped up on screen to turn the mode on and you or another person using your device selected it.

How to Fix the Yellow Battery Icon?
To turn off the yellow battery icon go ahead and :
1.Go to settings.
2.Now select Battery.
3.Now turn off Low power Mode.
That’s it the battery icon will return to its normal color and your device will not be throttled any more or limited to save power. This tutorial was written with iOS 13 in mind but do remember you can always use search in settings to find the option on other versions of iOS.
