What Will we be doing?
I will be showing you how to Extend Fortress Security System Loud Speaker Cable.The same could also be done with any other security system provided it uses the same 3.5mm headphone jack.
This will be a relatively easy modification especially if you were the one that installed your security system or have a little time.
What you will need?
You will need all the following:
1.Your existing Fortress Security System and loud speaker.
2.Purchase this: 3.5mm Male to Female Stereo Audio Cable-25 Feet as seen below.

How to Extend Security System Loud Speaker Cable?
1.Go ahead and purchase the 3.5mm Male to Female Stereo Audio Cable-25 Feet as shown above.
2.Unplug the Existing loud speaker Cable and plug the Audio cable from step 1 above into the fortress system.
3.Now plug the Loud speaker Jack into the Audio cable you bought.
4.That’s it you can test it now to see if it works when the alarm is triggered. With the extra length of cable you can now install your security stem where you desire.
